I have a real issue with button-queueing and not really lag. The controls are basic/arcade-y, the stamina system is broken and it is way too easy to spam punches. I played FNC after not having played any boxing games since Knockout Kings. (Also, why are there so many belts in OWC? In FN4 there was one belt per weight class, meaning there could only be one champion for each class, but on Champion ,everyone in the top 100 has a belt?) I'm not looking for an arguement here, I want genuine responses as to why you consider this to be a good game.
Champion removed that entirely, now you just press one button and you block everything? You're expected now just to spam the block button and hope the RNG is on your side and that your block will actually work? Every single part of this game has been dumbed down to cater to a wider audience, the thing I can't understand though is why so many people think this is acceptable, and still think this is a good game? I'm not going to even get into the pay to win elements seen in OWC because I've seen many people talk about these issues. Round 3 had a very advanced blocking system, Round 4 changed that to either blocking your head or body. They took away any skill needed when it comes to being defensive. How are you supposed to react to things in the moment if there's a 1 second delay in between you doing anything, and your character actually moving? Secondly, the blocking system. One of the biggest issues is with the input delay (This is not lag). I see so many people online praising this game, saying it's the best Fight Night released but to me, it's a broken, bordeline unplayable game.įor a background on me, I was ranked top 20 on Fight Night Round 4 on two accounts, and held the Heavyweight Belt online multiple times (there's only one belt on FN4). Since the release of Fight Night Champion I've tried to play the game and tried my best to enjoy it but I genuienly do not understand how people can think this game is good.
